Information on handling of personal information that has been received through the Rock the Boat web page and the use of cookies.

What is integrity?

The Personal Data Act

Rock the Boat adheres to the Personal Data Act  and protectes the personal integrity. This means that personal or private information must not be processed or given to a third party without the knowledge and approval of the persion in question. Received Information

Rock the Boat does not transfer, sell or in any other way make personal information that has been received via the web site available to any third party. Your information will not be used for commercial or advertising purposes. We do not send out advertising or commercial information via E-mail or normal mail without your specific approval.

Orders

The personal information of the person placing an order is only used to process the order.

IP-addresses

Rock the Boat saves the IP address of visitors and customers. This is used for statistics purposes and for security reasons.

Cookies

This web site uses cookies. There is a legal requirement that everyone that visits a web site shall receive information about:

• how cookies can be avoided

The Rock the Boat web site uses two cookies.

The first cookies is used to handle among other things your shopping basket, how you choose to sort products in the shop, language and to automatically log in customers that has previously shopped with us. This cookie is created as soon as you come in to our shop and information is added to it depending on if youfor example put a product in the shopping basket or choose to sort the products in a specific order. This cookie is stored in an encrypted format in your web browser.

The second cookie is used for statistics purposes through Google Analytics. We use this cookie so we can improve our shop and create a better shopping experience. Read more under the heading "Specific INformation from Google Analytics" below on how this cookie works.

If you are using a public computer in for example an internet café, library or similar you should always klick Log Out after you have completed your purchase. This will ensure that no one else can access you account.

If you do not want to accept cookies your web browser can be configured to automatically deny all requests to store cookies or to ask your confirmation everytime a web site want to store a cookie. The web browser can also delete all previously stored cookies. Refer to your web browsers manual or help pages for more information.
