Terms & Conditions

 

You must be at least 18 years old to place and order from Rock the Boat.

Validity

These Terms & Conditions is a translation from the Swedish version. In case of dispute the Swedish version is always the valid one.

Prices

The current price is the price stated when you place your order. All prices are presented in Swedish Crowns (SEK) and includes VAT (25%). We reserve the right to correct any prices due to spelling or printing errors and to adjust our prices without prior warning.

Payment

We offer the following payment methods:

Credit Card (fee 0kr)

Visa or MasterCard. All credit card payments are handled by our partner's, Payer Financial Services AB,  secure payment server, which means that your credit card information will only be recevied by Payer and your card company/bank. The transfer of information is encrypted with SSL-Secure Socket Layer with 128 bits encryption. Rock the Boat  will never recevie any part of your sensitive credit card information which increases the security for you as a customer.

On your Credit Card statement the payment receiver will be Pay&Read or Payer.

Internet Bank Payment

We accept internet bank payments from Swedbank and Handelsbanken. You must therefore have an internt bank account with one of these banks to use this payment method. In the check out you will be re-directed to your normal internet bank where you can make a payment directly to us. All transactions are handled by our partner Payer Financial Services AB's secure payment server which means that all sensitive information will only be recevied by Payer and your bank.

The transfer of information is encrypted with SSL-Secure Socket Layer with 128 bits encryption. Rock the Boat  will never recevie any part of your sensitive bank account information which increases the security for you as a customer.

Invoice (fee 29kr)

You can choose to pay via invoice with payment terms of 14 days. An invoicing fee of 29kr will be added to your order. 

Rock the Boat transfers all invoice debts to Klarna AB that will be the payment receiver.

The invoice is sent in the package together with your goods. Please do remember to pick up your package in time from the freight company's service agent before the due date of the invoice.

At late payment a reminder fee of 50kr is added and interest of 25.5% annually. If you have any questions about reminder fees or interests contact  Klarna AB

At the time of purchase a credit check is performed which in some cases means that a full credit vetting is neccessary. You will then receive a copy of the credit vetting in the post.

Part Payment with Klarna Konto

You can choose to divide your payment with Klarna Konto. You decide how much you want to pay each month, minimum 50kr/month or 1/24 of the total amount, and you can at any time pay the full remaining amount.  If you choose part payment with Klarna Konto you will receive one invoice every month with all the purchases you have made from the shops that are connected to Klarna Konto. You first part payment will be due at the end of the month after your purchase.  An invoicing fee of 29kr will be added to your invoice irrespective of the number of purchases you have made. The current annual interest rate is 19,9%.

Klarna Konto is handled and administered by our partner Klarna AB.  

Summer Campaign - Shop Now, Pay in August

Now you can sit back and relax and do your summer shopping and not pay anything until the end of August!. Together with our partner Klarna we offer a summer campaign so you can shop during May, June and July but you don't have to pay until the end of August with 0% interest.

A fee of 29kr/per order will be added.

Example: The effective interest when ordering for 5000kr + 29kr fee + 0% interest and payment after 4 months is 1.75%. Your total cost will be 5029kr.

You will receive the invoice for your purchases on the 16:th of August- 2012.

Freight Cost

If you shop for more than 650kr (excluding fees) we send your package freight free within Sweden. For orders below 650kr we charge a fixed freight cost of 49kr within Sweden.

Transport

Rock the Boat sends all packages within Sweden with DHL. The packages are traceable and you will receive a shipment number from us as soon as your package has been sent. DHL will then notify you via SMS or E-mail when your package can be collected. To collect your package at your nearest DHL Servicepoint agent you must bring the shipment number and a valid identity card. 

The package will remain at the DHL service agent for 14 days. If the package is not collected within this time period it falls under the heading "Uncollected Packages" below.

If your goods is damaged or lost during transport Rock the Boat is responsible.

Our packages has no commercial print on them and we always use a discreete sender.

Delivery Time

All products are available in our own local warehouse and the deliery time is normally 1-3 working days.

We may on occasion run out of stock on a product and should there be any delay in the delivery of your order we will contact you within 24 hours.

Rights to Cancel, Return Rights and Exchanges

We offer 30 days right to cancel, return or exchange on all full price items. This means that you within 30 days after you have received the goods can return it to us for a full refund or exchange.

For sale items you have by law the right to return them within 14 days after you have received them for a full refund or exchange.

Please always contact us on sales(at)rocktheboat.se to receive a return number before you return anything to us.

You return the product to us together with a filled in return slip. Important! To make sure that your return is not denied you must follow the rules under the heading "General Conditions for Return" below.

You are responsible for the cost of the returning the product to us, you are also responsible to make sure that we receive the product in an undamaged condition. Any returns sent as Cash on Delivery (Postförskott) will not be collected.

If you want a refund we will refund your money or credit your invoice within 30 days after we have received your return.

Important! If you have chosen to pay with invoice and we receive your return after the due date of the invoice we will not credit or refund any reminder fees, interests or debt collector fees that has been added by Klarna AB. If you intend to return a product after the invoice due date we recommend you to pay the invoice in full, we will then refund you via a bank transfer.

Exchanges to a different colour or size will normally be handled within 3 working days and does not incur any additional costs or fees to you.

Exchanges to a different product (model) is handled as a new order which means that freight costs and possible invoice fee will be added.

Due to hygien reasons some products are sealed. If this seal is broken the right to cancel, return or exchange is no longer valid. This concerns primarily the following types or products:

  • Knickers
  • Stockings and tights
  • Bodystockings
  • Teddies

Some products are delivered with matching knickers or stockings.These are whenever possible sealed in a separate plastic bag with a hygien sticker attached to them. The main product can thus be tried on and be returned as long as the hygien seal on the knickers or stockings are not broken.

Campaigns & Special Offers

When you buy products included in a campaign or special offers such as:

  • Take 3 pay for 2
  • Buy one products and get a discount on another
  • Buy for more than 650kr and get free freight
  • Buy for a specified sum and get a product for free

You have the same rights to cancel, return and exchange that is described in the chapter "Rights to Cancel, Return Rights and Exchanges" above. If you use your right to cancel or return a product that is part of a multi product campaign or return products so your total order value falls below the limit for the campaign, then all products in your order will return to their original price/value. The money we refund you will be adjusted in accordance with this. If you return all the products from a campaign or special offer then we will refund you the total sum that you have paid.

General Conditions for Returns

The following must be fulfilled in order for us to approve your return:

  • That the product and its packaging is undamaged.
  • That all stickers and labels are still attached.
  • That no hygien seals have been broken.
  • That the product has no stains or smell of for instance perfume, make-up or smoke.
  • That our recommendations about packaging below has been followed.

The freight companies handling of packages generally makes it impossible to send products in soft outer packaging, such as plastic bags, paper or Jiffy bags. The only way to ensure that the product and its packaging is not damaged during transport is to use the same type of outer packaging that we used when the product was sent to you or something of similar quality, that is hard cardboard. The freight companies does not take any responsibility for damage to products that has been sent with insufficient outer packaging.

If any of the above mentioned criterias are not met we are forced to deny your return. The product will be sent back to you with an attached invoice of up to 250kr to cover our costs for handling, packaging and freight costs.

Here you can download a return slip to print out and attach to returns and exchanges.

Uncollected Packages

To not collect a package is not the same as excercising your right to cancel or return. For uncollected packages that are returned to us we will charge a fee of 250kr to cover handling and freight costs. If you have chosen to pay with invoice you  are also fully responsible for any reminder fees, interest and debt collector fees that has been added by Klarna AB.

Faulty Products

If a products is damaged during transport to you or has a fabrication fault please contact us within 14 days after you have received the delivery on sales(at)rocktheboat.se. We will then ensure that you receive a new product or a full refund. We will also reimburse you for the freight cost of sending the faulty product back to us.

Dispute

In the unlikely event of a dispute our policy is to follow the recommendations from the Swedish National Board of Consumer Complaints (Allmänna Reklamationsnämnden).
